I want to congratulate Zenimax for being such a thorough dream crusher with their Elder Scrolls Online announcement.
No one wants a hotkey played, third person view, WoW Clone of an Elder Scrolls Game. If they did WoW wouldnt be losing so many people and EA wouldn’t have to beg people to continue playing TOR by giving away game time.
City of Heroes is about to turn 8 years old and with that come heated discussions on the internet about whether City of Heroes 2 has been started and what it might contain.
To that I would argue that City of Heroes might not now, or in the near future, need a sequel. What would a sequel bring to the table that CoH isn’t already providing?
Would anyone who has played the game argue that the only real problem with the game (aside from design choices) is its limited engine?
If so one could also make the point that it has to have been partially rewritten by now considering the new content of the last 8 or 9 issues. If that is the case, is the costly development of a whole new game warranted?

If your life sucks and you keep being depressed about how lonely and unloved you are, and you (very probably) are at least marginally attractive… Maybe you should ask yourself what terrible choices you made when you did have a chance. Then you might actually avoid making the same mistake the next time and then I can stop hearing you bitch about how lonely you are.

So a lot of people are upset that Anders Behring Breivik, the Far-Right Terrorist and Murder is going to ‘get away’ with it because he won’t be going to prison.
What many of these people do not realize is that in Norway, Prisons are effectively full ammenity camps. Even a maximum security prison in Norway is like the cushiest prisons we have in the US.
Sounds to me like a permanent stay inside a secured psychiatric facility would be more of a punishment.
